Our Commitment To The Environment

We are excited to announce that we have undertaken some big changes recently.  Over the past few months we have replaced all disposable items with ones that can be either recycled or composted.  This includes everything from our to-go containers down to our straws (if you don't yet compost at home, feel free to return the containers to the restaurant and we will compost them for you).  We also compost all  of our food scraps and recycle everything we can such as glass bottles, plastic, aluminum and cardboard.  We have even started working with a company that converts our used fryer oil into Bio-Fuel. We have dramatically decreased the amount of trash through these efforts as we work towards creating a zero-waste restaurant.

Our Commitment To Children's Health

The Evening Star Cafe understands that you have many choices when it comes to providing your child with safe healthy food options.  We are excited to announce our commitment to your child's health by offering new menu options targeted towards your little one.  Available on the new kid's menu is vegetable lasagna with low fat cheese and no sugar, ground turkey Sloppy Joes (they won't know it is made with fresh veggies unless you tell them), and a fresh grilled fish sandwich.

On top of that we have replaced plastics from our restaurant containing Bisphenol-A with non-BPA products.
