Cool off from the summer heat with a guided tasting of our favorite styles of margaritas & tequilas! NRG Spirit Director Nick Farrell will lead guests through both a tequila and margarita flight, all the while discussing how to pick the ideal bottle of tequila, what the label means, and how to identify additive free and sustainable agave.
We'll also be diving into Nick's margarita-making techniques (including how to make the best frozen marg!), salt types, use of alternative sweeteners, the how-to on seasonal fruit syrup, and how to batch ahead for a party.

J. Schnitt is a folk singer, "one-man band," protest singer, and storyteller from the small Central NY city of Utica. Known for his insightful lyrics and sharp commentary, ranging in topics from current events and political issues to the deeply personal, this award-winning singer-songwriter makes his Evening Star Cafe debut this Friday in the No. 9 Lounge!
The show starts at 8:30pm and admission is free -- come on out for some folksy fun!

Calling all comedy lovers! Join us for open mic comedy nights in the No. 9 Lounge. Both novice and seasoned comedians alike are invited to perform their latest sets, or workshop in front of a crowd.
Sign-ups start at 7:45pm and there's no cover to perform (or attend!)
Join us in the No. 9 Lounge for the What-Have-You's Open Mic Night! The first Wednesday of the month is an open "sing-what-you-will" platform, while the third Wednesday of the month typically features a theme (found on The What-Have-You's website).
